Camp Policies
Overnight Camp
Refund Policy: Cancellations made at least 10 days before the camp start date will receive a refund minus the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 10 days of the camp start date will receive a 50% refund. No exceptions.
Payments: DASA only accepts Credit or Debit Cards. You have the option to pay in installments. Please note that these installments are automatically deducted each month until paid in full. All payments must be met by registration.
Discounts: Only ONE DISCOUNT may be applied per household. Only ONE DISCOUNT may be applied to each transaction.
Check In/Out: Check in on the first day between 2:00-3:30 p.m.. Check out will begin at 11am. Once on campus, follow the signs for the Soccer Academy.
Roommates: We make every effort to room campers together when a mutual request is submitted on the registration form. Forms must be received at least two weeks before camp. Dorms accommodate two campers per room. If no request is made or the form is submitted late, roommates will be assigned based on age and gender. Please note: roommate assignments cannot be changed during or after check-in. For any concerns, email dasacamp@gmail.com
Evaluation: Players at the Resident/Team Academies will be given a written evaluation of their performances from their coach.
Housing: Housing will be in the air conditioned Furman Residence Halls. You will be charged $40.00 at the end of camp for a lost room key, $15.00 for a lost slide card and $20 for lost lanyard.
Meals: Meals will be served at the Furman Dining Hall, except for any meal that will be catered. The last meal will be breakfast on the final day of camp.
Money: You may wish to bring extra money for the camp snack bar, Furman Bookstore and The Soccer Academy Store. Some campers may wish to order pizza for a late night snack.
Commuter: Any commuters should arrive each morning at the Furman Dorms by 8:15am. You will stay on campus until the evening session is over at 9:15pm. Pick up is at the Soccer Stadium.
What to Bring: You need to bring a water bottle, an adequate amount of soccer clothes (shorts, shirts, socks, indoor & outdoor shoes, and shin guards) for the week. Also bring a soccer ball, alarm clock, towels, single sheets, blanket, pillow, personal toiletries, sunscreen, and leisure clothes. All campers will receive a free soccer camp T-shirt.
Hydration Stations: Gatorade and water coolers will be provided at every field and every station. Please make sure your camper brings their own water bottle to fill up before and after each session.
Notes: All camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
Day Camp:

Registration: Registration and Pick-Up will be located at the Furman Soccer Stadium. Time for registration is on the first day, Monday, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00am.
Start Times: Full and half day camps begin at 9:00 a.m. on the day following registration.
Lunch: Lunch is included in the tuition for Full-Day Campers Only, not for half day campers. If you would prefer to provide your own lunch for your camper, please feel free to do so and please pack in a cooler type bag.

In addition, please bring a water bottle, bring an extra shirt (for lunch), sneakers and sunscreen. All campers will receive a free soccer camp T-shirt and water bottle.

Pick Up: After camp, pick up campers at the Soccer Stadium where registration takes place. Half Day Campers are finished daily at 11:30 am. Full day campers are finished daily at 3:00 pm. On the last day, Closing Ceremonies for both Full and Half Day Camps will begin at 11:00 am at the Furman Soccer Stadium.

Registration & Closing: Check-in is from 8:30–9:00 a.m. on the first day at the soccer stadium. Closing ceremonies will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 20, at the stadium.
Housing & Meals: Campers are responsible for their own lodging and meals.
Notes: Camps are open to all entrants, limited only by age, grade level, gender, and capacity.

Overnight Campers should bring a water bottle, plenty of soccer clothing, a soccer ball, sunscreen, alarm clock, all linens (XL twin sheets), any medications necessary, and spending money. Day campers should arrive dressed to play soccer in shorts, t-shirts, shin guards, socks and cleats or tennis shoes. Both Day and Overnight campers must bring a soccer ball. All campers will receive a free soccer camp T-shirt.

Once on campus, follow the signs to Soccer Registration. Full Day and Half Day campers should be dropped off and picked up at the Furman Soccer Stadium.

Yes, we allow roommate requests at camp. Please make sure when signing up for camp, that each camper chooses one another to be roommates. All roommates MUST be completed 2 weeks prior to each camp. NO ROOMMATE CHANGES MAY BE MADE AT CHECK-IN.

There is basically no free time. Campers are continually busy playing or learning soccer from breakfast until after the evening games.

Campers are supervised by staff members during the entire camp. No one is allowed to leave campus. Dorms are supervised 24 hours a day.
